An outstanding solution with a traditional background
Stucco dating back to the application of mixed clay plasters in pre Biblical times has traditionally been used to decorate an protect buildings.
Embracing this concept with the latest technology and selected additives, Stoanz has specifically engineered the StoStucco, a plaster system on a stainless steel lath to meet the requirements of New Zealand's house owners, designers and specifiers. This unique and certified cladding solution offers a proprietary system to clad timber framed construction and gives architects the opportunity for an unlimited range of design concepts.
With a complex range of modern analytical equipment Sto pursues innovative technology that will meet ecologically acceptable standards. Using this approach Sto has developed a comprehensive range of facade plasters, finishing renders and cladding solutions to enable the specifiers to select an individual style to meet the project requirements.

StoStucco Plaster System 20 mm
StoStucco is a BRANZ appraised plaster system based on the traditional New Zealand stucco net system. It incorporates a European stainless steel lath which is plastered with a lightweight mineral basecoat to provide a thick solid plaster base. As additional reinforcement, the StoArmat RFP mesh reinforcement plaster incorporating micro fibres and lightweight fillers provides the strength and durability. It is then finished with the perfect interlocking components; Stolit finishing render and Sto facade paint. Using modern technology with enhanced and well engineered materials this Stucco plaster system provides a strong and durable solution for a high performance facade.

Perfect Interaction
StoStucco system is cost-effective, solid, durable and offers greater flexural strength, higher impact resistance and faster installation than conventional stucco.
Incorporating a lath made from a stainless steel welded wire mesh into which an absorbent sheet of perforated chip paper is interwoven, it allows the applicator to work faster and more efficient. The perforations in the chip paper allow an optimal key of the mortar around the stainless steel wires.
Combining lightweight engineered mineral basecoat with technologically advanced fibre reinforcement plaster and elastomeric finishes, it creates a stucco cladding that is superior to the traditional, hand mixed applicator product.
Save Time and Costs
StoStucco's time and cost efficiency results not only from the quick and easy installation of the lath. Using a PFT Ritmo mixing pump the Sto System can be applied in a fraction of the usual application time.
Advantages:
- no pre mixing of plaster
- plaster mix of constant quality
- instant delivery to the work face
- ease of application
- saving labour costs
- saving time
Stolit: Coloured Finishing Renders
Stolit organic finishing renders are manufactured in Europe and certified around the world. They have been in successful use for over 50 years on a variety of different substrates. During this time they have undergone a continual process of optimisation.
The perfect combination of properties: Durable, strong, hardwearing, impact resistant, malleable, weather resistant, colour stable and highly resistant to micro-organism. They are designed with good vapour permeability to allow the building to breathe while still repelling liquid water. All renders are easy to apply and can be tinted from the StoColor System or matched to the colour of your choice, using the Sto spectrometer.
