Aerated Concrete Construction
StoArmat Miral Plaster System – StoPoren Plaster System
BRANZ Appraisal Certificate No 739 (2011)
A Construction Element with a Unique Structure
Over 80 years ago a manufacturing process was developed that led to the invention of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC). By Intro-ducing aluminium paste in a mix of lime, sand, cement and water; a reaction occurred that produced hydrogen gas interspersing throughout the mix and creating a fine honeycomb in the concrete matrix. Its unique structure being 25% the weight of concrete, easily worked, incombustible, acoustically and thermally effective has ensured its acceptance in the construction industry.
Researching the outstanding properties of autoclaved aerated concrete construction, the Sto technical staff with a complex range of modern analytical equipment, pursued innovative technology to meet ecologically acceptable standards. Using this approach Sto has developed a comprehensive range of breathable facade plasters, finishing renders and solutions to enable the specifiers to select an individual style to meet the project requirements.

StoArmat Miral
StoArmat Miral is a BRANZ appraised plaster system that provides the optimal protection and durability for all autoclaved aerated concrete constructions. Protectosil WS205 is used to waterproof and seal the surface then LevelLite provides a solid, levelling basecoat. The StoArmat RFP mesh reinforcement plaster incorporates micro fibres and lightweight fillers to provide strength and durability interlocking with Stolit finishing render and StoSilco Color G paint. This European manufactured and certified plaster system is breathable, fracture and impact resistant to provide a modern contemporary facade engineered to last the distance.

StoArmat
StoArmat plaster system incorporates Protectosil WS205 to waterproof and seal the surface and Sto Armat PFR mesh reinforcement plaster to provide strength, durability, over a level AAC surface. It is then finished with Stolit finishing render and Sto facade paint for ease of maintenance. Using modern technology with enhanced and well engineered materials this plaster system provides a strong durable and economical solution for AAC/Block/Brick or Panel construction.

Stolit: Coloured Finishing Renders
Stolit organic finishing renders are manufactured in Europe and certified around the world. They have been in successful use for over 50 years on a variety of different substrates. During this time they have undergone a continual process of optimisation.
The perfect combination of properties:Durable, strong, hardwearing, impact resistant, malleable, weather resistant, colour stable and highly resistant to micro-organism. They are designed with good vapour permeability to allow the building to breathe while still repelling liquid water. All renders are easy to apply and can be tinted from the StoColor System or matched to the colour of your choice, using the Sto spectrometer.
