Ventilated Rainscreen Facade System
A ventilated rainscreen facade system with a seamless render finish - The StoVentec R system is fixed to the exterior wall with a highly-engineered adjustable aluminium sub-construction with cavity between the facade and the render carrier board. This can be part-filled with optional mineral fibre or other insulation as specified for effective external wall insulation. Thanks to the ventilation of the system, the substrate and optional insulation remain permanently dry, protected and functional.
With almost no limits to facade design due to the flexible sub construction, sustainable recycled glass carrier boards and the unlimited variety of finishing renders in any colour, StoVentec R allows for outstanding designs to be realised.

The StoVentec R system has been designed to suit just about any substrate, including porous concrete and timber framed buildings. Used both in the construction of new buildings and in refurbishment, the adjustable stainless steel sub-construction corrects uneven substrates up to 320mm and provides the ability to accommodate for curved structures. The ventilated cavity ensures the wall remains dry and breathes. The system components are adaptable to meet the needs of each individual project.
Adjustable stainless steel sub-construction up to 320mm.
The mineral fibre insulation board provides high thermal performance and fire protection.
Made of 96% recycled expanded glass granulate and reinforced on both sides with glass fibre mesh for superior impact resistance.
Seamless rendered facade (minimal control joints).
Suitable for curved surfaces.

A new development or cracked refurbishment, such as concrete block, brick, slab or timber.
Sub-construction consisting of aluminium profiles to fix the carrier boards in place. Anchored in the substrate with Sto approved fixings inaccordance with the New Zealand Building Code.
Seamless exterior mineral wool or other insulation as specified. Thickness variable according to thermal insulation requirements.
Render carrier board:
StoVentec R carrier board, consisting of recycled glass (expanded glass granulate), with mesh reinforcement on both sides, thickness 12 mm, format 1.20 x 0.80 m and 1.20 x 2.40 m; low weight of approx. 6 kg/m2, of limited combustibility in accordance with DIN 4102, frost-resistant.
StoArmat Render, organic, cement free, ready-to-use bonding and reinforcing compound. Highly expandable, crack-resistant and highly resistant to mechanical stress.
Sto Glass Fibre Mesh 4/7mm
Alkali-resistant reinforcing mesh, non-shifting with optimized capacity to absorb forces.
Finishing Render: Stolit Renders
Stolit (organic plaster) cement-free, ready-to-use finishing renders. Highly weather resistant, minimal susceptibility to soiling, highly elastic, resistant to mechanical stress. Selected StoColor IQ facade paints for intelligent solutions.
Alternative options consist of: Ceramics, glass mosaics, ashlar Frost-resistant and suitable for bonding directly on site, for broad design scope.
StoArmat 20 Year Warranty with StoService Assurance
Stolit: Coloured Finishing Renders
Stolit organic finishing renders are manufactured in Germany incorporating the latest technology; certified globally and successfully applied to rendered substrates in every climatic zone for over 50 years.
The Stolit range provides the perfect combination of properties: durable, strong, hard-wearing, impact-resistant, malleable, weather-resistant, colour-stable and highly resistant to microorganisms. In addition, its vapour permeability allows your building to breathe while still repelling water.
